Share an offer with the other agent

From an offer's page you can invite the agent on the other side into that one offer. They sign in with a free REHL account, or their own paid one if they already have it, the two of you verify each other's license, and then they negotiate their side in REHL while the offer stays in your account.

Before you can invite

  • The offer is open and has a document signed through REHL Sign: a completed contract, counter, addendum or broker compensation agreement. REHL does not invite anyone to an unsigned offer.
  • Your license number and phone are on My profile. The invite shows them so the other agent can check it is really you. Add your license state too: without it the other agent has nothing to verify, and the offer cannot open to them.
  • You have edit access to Offers, and your plan includes Offers.
  • The address is not someone in your own brokerage, and it has not opted out of or bounced your brokerage's email.

Send the invite

  1. Open the offer and go to Share with the other agent.
  2. Enter the agent's name and email. Their brokerage and license number are optional.
  3. Choose Send invite.

The email shows your name, license, brokerage, phone and email, and the property's address, but no offer term or document. Its link works once and expires in 14 days. They open it by signing in with that same address: a free REHL account if they do not already have REHL, or their own paid account if they do. If their sign-in address is not verified yet, REHL sends a six-digit code to it and checks that before the invite binds. An offer can be shared with 2 outside agents at a time and sent 6 invitations in all, and you can send up to 20 invitations a day.

If the invited address already belongs to someone in your OWN brokerage, REHL refuses the invite, because the offer is already inside your brokerage's own account. That refusal does not depend on whether your lead-visibility setting lets that colleague actually see this particular offer.

Verify each other

When they open the invite, your bell tells you, and the sharing panel shows what they entered (at sign-up, or already on file for a paid account): name, email, phone, brokerage, and license with its state. Look the license up with the licensing authority of the state that issued it (the panel links to that state's license lookup when REHL has it), tick the sentence, and choose Verify their license. They do the same for your license. The offer opens to them only once both of you have verified. Until then they see only the property address and your name, license, brokerage, phone and email, and you see only what they entered at sign-up.

If either agent's license on file changes later, the verification about it stops counting and the offer closes to them until that license is verified again.

REHL does not look licenses up for you. Each sentence you tick is kept on the offer's record word for word, with who ticked it and when.

What they see and can do

Once you have both verified, they see the offer's status and whose turn it is, its deadlines, the current terms and every round, its history, and the documents on which they are a signer. They never see your notes, the buyer's name or contact details, your contacts, the offer's audit log, or any other offer.

  • Counter your latest round. It lands on your offer page as the next round, from their side.
  • Decline your latest round. On a received offer that withdraws the buyer's offer; on a made offer it declines yours. Either way the negotiation ends.
  • Record the executed contract, once both sides have signed that round's contract through REHL Sign.
  • File PDFs on the offer. They show in your Attachments, marked as from the other agent.

Each of these rings your bell. Their counters, the PDFs they file, and sending a document for signature all need Offers on your plan; declining and recording a signed contract do not. Sending a document for signature puts their own paperwork (proof of funds, a disclosure, or another document they upload) through REHL Sign from their own side, with signers only on their own side. That never replaces the purchase contract or a counter instrument, which still has to come from you on your own form: only that document can be recorded as an executed contract.

Remove access

Choose Remove access on their row at any time. It takes effect at once, and an invite they have not opened stops working.
