SMS Messaging Terms & Consent

1. The program
REHL is a software platform operated by Rehl, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation with operations in Florida (“REHL,” “we,” “us”). Real estate brokerages and their agents use REHL to communicate with the buyers and sellers they work with. The text-messaging program (the “Program”) lets a brokerage or agent send you text messages about the real estate inquiry or relationship you started with them, using REHL as the platform that delivers those messages.
Messages come from the specific brokerage or agent you contacted. REHL does not run its own marketing texting campaign to the general public; every message under this Program is tied to a brokerage or agent you reached out to and opted in with.
2. What messages you can expect
After you opt in, you may receive text messages such as:
- Appointment, tour, and showing reminders and confirmations.
- Replies and follow-up to inquiries you submitted (for example, a find-an-agent request, a home-value request, or a question about a listing).
- New-listing and saved-search alerts that match a search you signed up for.
- Occasional price-change and open-house updates for the homes and searches you are following.
You will only receive messages related to the brokerage or agent you contacted and the searches and requests you asked to be kept up to date on.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity, the searches and listings you follow, and how you interact with the brokerage or agent.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to messages you send and receive. Check your mobile plan for details.
5. How you opt in
You join the Program by contacting a brokerage or agent and affirmatively giving consent. This typically happens when you submit a form on the brokerage's website, such as a find-an-agent request, a showing or tour request, a home-value request, a saved-search alert sign-up, or an open-house sign-in, and check the box agreeing to receive text messages at the phone number you provide.
When you opt in, we record your phone number, the exact consent language you agreed to, and the date, time, and IP address of your opt-in, so we can honor and evidence your consent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to use our services or to buy or sell a home.
6. How you opt out and get help
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe at any time. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts under the Program, unless you opt in again.
- Help: Reply HELP for help, or email privacy@rehl.us.
7. No sharing of your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and text-messaging consent are used only to send you the messages you opted in to receive. We share your mobile information with the brokerage or agent you contacted so they can respond to and follow up on your request, and with the messaging provider (for example, Twilio) solely to deliver those messages on our behalf. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Carrier liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
9. Related terms
Your use of the Program is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. The Privacy Policy explains, in more detail, what information we collect and how we handle it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Messaging Terms as the Program evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised terms.
